NIGHT TRAIN

A quick turn around flyer, just how I like 'em. Its a Harlem Renaissance inspired design with some Dapper East London Soul thrown in! The colours were taken from an Aaron Douglas illustration that I uploaded to Kuler (and then downloaded the swatches to Adobe Illustrator). The last versions were looking too flat, so I painted the sky roughly with watercolours, scanned it and placed it behind the vector drawing. The night happens this Friday 10th April 10-5. DJs The BPM, Tic Zogson, Mr. Wonderful and guests. The Shacklewell Arms, London, E8.

Worldwide 10 - Mulatu

Following on from the Q-Tip gig at the Roundhouse, Mulatu and the Heliocentrics are to play Camden's Koko next month. Here is another image in the same style as the Q-Tip poster that I did last month. No plans to print a limited edition this time, but open-editions will be available soon from my site.
