Harvey Mason Special

Following on from the Creed Taylor night in April, If Music put on a night inspired by the music of Harvey Mason. A pleasure to meet Marc Mac (4 Hero) down there and to give him a poster. That's the forth in a series of posters I've done for If Music. They can be seen in all their glory at If Music's new shop located on 42 Langham Street, W1. JC has even managed to hang them straight.

Cool Comp

My cover art for Blue Note Japan is out now. Sunday Blue is a compilation of chilled Blue Note tracks selected by Toshio Matsuura. Toshio contacted me back in June with a brief to do the cover. It was a refreshing experience working with a client that cares about how things look as well as contributing some good direction and ideas.

The tracklist is excellent and it was playing constantly while I put the image together. The Ronnie Foster track is the one that does it for me! Here's the complete list:
